This specific type of design by its very nature tends to stretch some of the boundaries that confine the other building types. However, this in turn creates challenges that are completely unique to this building type - one of which is subjectivity. What is fun? And by whose definition is it being measured? This, almost more than any other building type, is when really listening to the client becomes critical. Their view on the project, the team and its ability to pull everything together in an entertaining and hospitable manner becomes the measurement for success.
